§ Dame Irene Wardasked the Parliamentary Secretary for Science whether he will publish the studies of the reactor systems which were carried out between January and September, 1962, by industry at the behest of the Atomic Energy Authority and on which the choice of the marine reactor to be developed, recently announced by him, was based; and if he is aware that there is concern in the shipbuilding industry whether the best technical choice has been made.

However I would assure my hon. Friend that the choice of systems was made on the advice of the Working Group on Marine Reactor Research, which was set up by my noble Friend and my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport, and on which both the shipping and shipbuilding industries are represented.
