§ Mr. Scott-HopkinsNone. Presumably the hon. Member has my Laboratory's experiments in rearing plaice from the egg stage in mind. It has been proved that it is possible to hatch plaice artificially. We have yet to prove that small fish so reared can survive in the sea in sufficient numbers to make any difference to commercial catches.
