96. Mr. Clive Bossom

asked the Minister of Transport when he proposes to set up an inter-departmental committee to study the question of farm level crossings.

Mr. Marples

My Department is already in touch with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and expects shortly to discuss this question with them, the British Transport Commission and the National Farmers Union. I will consider in the light of these discussions whether more formal machinery is required.
