HC Deb 11 December 1962 vol 669 c37W
60. Mr. Kitson

asked the Postmaster-General what is the cost per ton of paper user for printing stamps; and what is the additional cost of printing double-sized stamps in a full year.

Miss Pike

The prices we pay for stamp paper are fixed by competitive tenders, and it would be contrary to established practice to disclose them. The extra cost of producing double-sized stamps varies from year to year according to the number of special issues. This year it is expected to be about £27,000.
