§ Mr. Denzil FreethThe Atomic Energy Authority is currently advertising44W the safe use of depleted uranium for shielding and non-nuclear purposes in selected British and European journals. It bas available an illustrated brochure on the properties and uses of depleted uranium, and I am sending a copy to the hon. Member and arranging for a copy to be made available in the library. The Authority is actively seeking markets for this material at home and abroad and the results so far are encouraging.
