§ 78. Mr. Hunterasked the Postmaster General how many applicants were waiting for telephone service on the Feltham and Hounslow telephone exchanges at the latest convenient date; and what was the comparative figure for the same date last year.
§ Mr. BevinsExcluding orders under enquiry and in course of being met there were 160 waiting applicants at Feltham and 69 at Hounslow on the 30th November, 1962. The figures for 30th November, 1961, were 250 and 87 respectively.
Over 1,100 telephones were installed in Feltham and Hounslow during the period.
