HC Deb 02 August 1962 vol 664 c135W
Mr. Wyatt

asked the Minister of Education whether he is aware that there is no school dental service operating in the Hinckley area and that school children in that area receive no routine conservation treatment; what steps he has taken in the last six months to improve the school dental service in the area; and when he now expects a school dental service to be operating there.

Sir E. Boyle

I am concerned about these deficiencies. The Leicestershire local education authority is continuing its intensive efforts to appoint a school dental officer for the area. At the same time general guidance will shortly be given to local education authorities on ways of improving the school dental service.
