§ Mr. Hockingasked the Lord Privy Seal what discussions took place with the Tunisian Minister of Finance and Planning, during his recent official visit to this country, relating to the Tunisian Development Plan.
§ Mr. P. ThomasThe Minister referred to this plan and explained that the Tunisian Government hoped that under the auspices of the International Bank, there would be formed an informal group of countries interested in assisting, either from public or private sources, the Tunisian Government Development Plan. He was told that whereas Her Majesty's Government for their part could enter into no financial commitments they would welcome its establishment and would follow with interest both the work of the group and the progress of the Development Plan.
