§ Mr. Iremongerasked the Minister of Transport what action he is taking to deal with the problem of the gypsy caravan dwellers on Eastern Avenue, Ilford, who are occupying the grass verges, having been removed from Essex County Council land in the vicinity.
§ Mr. MarplesAfter staying a short time on the trunk road verge, several caravans moved onto adjoining land owned by the Essex County Council, and were there joined by more caravans. Asked by the county council to move away, they all dispersed on 16th April.
