83. Mr. Corfield

asked the Minister of Transport why, in making the order for the North of Almondsbury to Tormarton, East of Almondsbury-Filton By-pass and Hambrook Spur Special Road Scheme, he did not allow time to implement any alterations which might appear desirable after consideration of such objections without disrupting his programme for the construction of the proposed motorway and its connections with the Severn Bridge.

Most diabetic children are able to attend ordinary schools, but some require residential care, of whom a few have been sent to England. The needs of diabetic children are being reviewed by a Committee of the Scottish Health Services Council which is at present considering the care of young people suffering from chronic illness; and I shall consider what further provision is required in the light of their advice.
