HC Deb 11 April 1962 vol 657 cc125-6W
48. Mr. A. Royle

asked the Minister of Transport if he will reconsider his decision not to re-route the South Circular Road, as put forward in the plan suggested by Mr. Philip Hicks, Alderman Gaines, and Mr. Plant, a copy of which has been sent to him by the hon. Member for Richmond, Surrey, for the diversion of traffic via the Cromwell Road extension instead of through the village of Kew.

Mr. Marples

The considerations detailed in my letter of 10th July, 1961, to my hon. Friend still apply.
