asked the Minister of Transport how many people were seriously injured on the roads in 1931, 1941, 1951, and 1961; and what were the ratios of the number seriously injured to the number of vehicles in the same years.

There are no figures available for the number of people injured in 1941, and serious and slight casualties were not given separately in 1931.

The total numbers of people injured were as follows:
