HC Deb 02 April 1962 vol 657 c3W
36. Sir C. Osborne

asked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance how many immigrants were in receipt of National Assistance and unemployment benefit, respectively, at the latest convenient date; how much such assistance costs per annum; whether the numbers have increased or decreased over the last six months; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Boyd-Carpenter

I am afraid that figures in respect of immigrants generally are not available.
