Friend has received representations from the Chigwell Urban District Council about this works and reservoir which will benefit parts of Ilford, Dagenham and Romford, though not Chigwell itself. The company has not yet found a site for the reservoir: my right hon. Friend has directed that the application for planning permission for the treatment works be referred to him for decision.
