HC Deb 30 January 1961 vol 633 c72W
56. Mr. P. Williams

asked the Minister of Labour what action he now intends to take to resolve the many employment problems facing the shipbuilding industry.

Mr. Hare:

As my right hon. Friend the Minister of Transport informed the House on 26th October, a special Sub-Committee of the Shipbuilding Advisory Committee is studying the problems facing the industry, including the employment prospects. Further action will be considered by the Ministers concerned in the light of the committee's advice.
