asked the Lord Privy Seal what representations Her Majesty's Government has made to the French Government on behalf of neighbouring British territories about the recent atomic explosions in the Sahara.

Mr. Ormsby Gore:

None, as we had received no request from British territories until the end of last week, when a communication reached us on behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone, expressing their concern at the French testing.
