§ 74. Mr. Sydney Irvingasked the Minister of Pensions and National Insurance the number of persons in Dartford in receipt of National Assistance under the headings of pensioners, non-contributory pensioners, unemployed, persons under pensionable age incapacitated for work, and others.
§ Miss Hornsby-Smith:The Area Office of the National Assistance Board in Dartford serves an area comprising the Municipal Borough, the Rural District of Dartford and the Urban Districts of Crayford and Swanscombe. The numbers of weekly National Assistance grants current in that area on the 13th December last, analysed as asked for, were as follows:
