Mr. Elwyn Jonesasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of the public concern caused by the decision of the House of Lords in the case of Director of Public Prosecutions versus Smith, Her Majesty's Government will cause an inquiry to be held into the problems created by that decision, with a view to introducing such amending legislation as may be recommended.
