asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer (1) what revenue was raised by direct graduated taxation and by flat-rate National Insurance contributions, respectively, in 1960; and what percentage each represented of the total revenue;

(2) what revenue was raised by direct graduated taxation and by flat-rate National Insurance contributions, respectively, in 1950; and what percentage each represented of the total revenue.
