HC Deb 24 February 1961 vol 635 c79W
Mr. Russell

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will have the names of the terraces surrounding Regent's Park clearly marked on each entrance, so that drivers approaching them along the outer circle from either direction can easily find them.

Sir E. Boyle

The Crown Estate Paving Commissioners, who are the responsible authority, are already arranging for replacement of some of these signs. A standard design of nameplate has been chosen for this purpose and has so far been put up in Gloucester Gate and Cambridge Gate. It is proposed to put up similar new signs in other terraces, but in some cases this will need to await the completion of reconstruction work.
