asked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that right-hand turns by eastbound traffic into Exhibition Road from the main Kensington-Piccadilly road frequently result in holding up traffic while the signals change several times; and if he will stop these turns at that junction.

Mr. Marples:

Traffic studies show that little would be gained by prohibiting the right-hand turn into Exhibition Road. Other solutions of the traffic problems at this junction are being investigated.
