§ Mr. N. Macpherson:My right hon. Friend is aware that some firms have found it difficult to replace men who were called up for National Service. The needs of the Armed Forces have to be met while manpower is being built up for voluntary recruitment, and as the call-up has now ended any difficulties that there may be will not last much longer.
