60. Mr. Wyatt

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether, in view of new evidence on the case of Timothy Evans, who was hanged for murder, submitted to him by the hon. Member for Bosworth, he will give instructions for a fresh inquiry to be held.

81. Mr. S. Silverman

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he has now completed his further study of the case of Timothy John Evans; whether he is satisfied that Timothy John Evans was not guilty as charged and whether he will advise Her Majesty to grant him a posthumous free pardon upon that ground.
