HC Deb 21 December 1961 vol 651 cc176-7W
Dr. D. Johnson

asked the Secretary to the Treasury if he is aware that in several recent instances it has taken Her Majesty's Stationery Office up to a week to ten days to supply copies of daily HANSARD reports to members of the public applying for these in writing, enclosing cheques in payment; and what is the average time for supply of such reports

Sir E. Boyle

Yes. I regret that exceptional pressure on the Stationery Office has temporarily affected the normal 24-hour service, which I hope will be restored before Christmas.
