HC Deb 05 December 1961 vol 650 c142W
57. Mr. Farr

asked the Postmaster-General if, in order to assist British exporters, he will now raise the limits on the size of parcels sent abroad.

Miss Pike

Any material increase in our present limits of size and weight presents practical problems, some of which are not capable of easy solution. My right hon. Friend should very much like to meet my hon. Friend's request but he is not yet in a position to make a statement. He will do so as soon as possible.
