asked the Minister of Labour whether he will now make a further statement about the Merseyside ship repairing dispute.

The district committee of the Confederation of Shipbuilding and Engineering Unions on behalf of a number of unions have now asked for an increase in the district incentive bonus and their representatives met the Employers' Association on 21st April. The meeting was adjourned for further consultations. I understand that there are prospects of it being resumed shortly.
