§ 44. Mr. D. Priceasked the Prime Minister what plans Her Majesty's Government have for the co-ordination of research and development in Government Departments and in British industry in relation to British participation in a world communications satellite system.
§ The Prime MinisterAs I said in my reply of 31st January to the hon. Member for Bosworth (Mr. Wyatt), there is full Governmental co-operation in this field. My right hon. Friend the Postmaster-General has sought the advice of the Federation of British Industries on the spread of industry that should be consulted to ensure full co-ordination in development, and he expects to arrange early talks with industry.
