§ 59. Dr. Strossasked the Minister of Labour whether he is aware that operatives in the pottery industry in Stoke-on-Trent have twice been examined by mass X-ray since 1954, except for 20 per cent. who would not volunteer for examination; and, in view of the fact that the 11W second survey has shown that tuberculosis is found three times as often among those who have not yet been X-rayed, whether he will issue a regulation which will enforce X-ray of the chest on all new entrants in the industry.
§ Mr. P. ThomasMy right hon. Friend has this matter under consideration.
