§ 56. Mr. Swinglerasked the Lord Privy Seal if Her Majesty's Government will propose to the United Nations the immediate establishment of an international commission of inquiry into the origins of the armed landings in Cuba, which constitute a threat to world peace.
§ Mr. GodberIn view of the terms of the Resolution relating to Cuba which was approved by the General Assembly oh 22nd April and for which the United Kingdom Representative voted, Her Majesty's Government do not consider that it would be appropriate to call for any further action at the United Nations at present in this matter.
