§ Mr. Mayhewasked the Lord Privy Seal what proportion of the cost of the forthcoming visit of the National Youth Orchestra to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics will be payable by members of the orchestra and their parents.
§ Mr. HeathThis tour is being undertaken with the full support of Her Majesty's Government and the British Council, but they are not responsible for the detailed financial arrangements. It is not yet known what the total cost will be nor how the orchestra authorities propose to meet it. The orchestra has, however, accepted the offer of a contribution of £2,000 from the British Council towards the cost of the visit.
