§ 34. Sir A. Hurdasked the Minister of Transport when work on the North-South inner relief road at Newbury will start; and if it will be in use by the summer of 1962.
§ Mr. HayI cannot yet say when work on the relief road will start. It will not be this year. The design of the junctions has been agreed and detailed plans for the side roads Order are being prepared. The design of the bridge is still under discussion.
