§ 60. Mr. Stonehouseasked the Lord Privy Seal for what purposes a grant in aid of £1 million and arms and other equipment to the value of £400,000 are to be made available to the Sultan of Muscat and Oman.
§ Mr. HeathThis assistance is being extended for a civil development programme and a strengthening of the Sultan's Armed Forces, as described by my right hon. and learned Friend the then Foreign Secretary on 31st July, 1958, and by myself on 16th November, 1960.
