HC Deb 19 April 1961 vol 638 c106W
Mr. Biggs-Davison

asked the Lord Privy Seal what British subjects and Commonwealth citizens are held captive by Ethiopian or other troops under United Nations command; and what has been done to obtain their release.

Mr. Heath

The United Nations authorities have informed us that, amongst a party of thirty mercenaries held in custody at Kamina in the Congo there are eleven citizens of the United Kingdom and Colonies, seven South Africans and five Rhodesians. Arrangements for the release and repatriation of these people are in hand.
