asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what sums have been paid to the Forestry Commission in aid of the Forestry Fund in England and Wales, separately, in each of the last 10 years.

The grant-in-aid of the Forestry Fund is voted for Great Britain as a whole. The following table shows the annual net amounts issued from the Fund for operations in England and Wales, with an estimated apportionment of central expenditure, such as salaries and capital items of equipment:
