Mr. C. Osborne

asked the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the estimated nominal value of the capital invested today in Government securities, corporation stocks, public works stocks, overseas Government and corporation stocks, bank deposits, building society loans and deposits, Trustee Savings Bank deposits, and National Savings, respectively, and in any other fixed interest savings.
