HC Deb 17 November 1960 vol 630 c57W
57. Mr. Russell

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware that two pedestrians have been knocked down by vehicles recently in Whitton Avenue, on the boundary between Wembley and Ealing; and if he will state the causes of these accidents.

Mr. Renton

I have ascertained that the police are aware of three cases in the past month in which pedestrians were knocked down by vehicles in this road. In two cases the pedestrians received fatal injuries. I am not in a position to state the causes of the accidents.
