asked the Lord Privy Seal how the British delegate on the Steering Committee of the United Nations voted on the motion that the question of Oman should be placed on the agenda of the General Assembly; and which delegates voted for the motion, which against, and which abstained.

Mr. Heath

The United Kingdom Representative, together with the Representative of France, opposed inscription. The motion was supported by the Representatives of Bulgaria, Ceylon, Costa Rica, Haiti, Iraq, Japan, Libya, Pakistan, Panama, Roumania, Soviet Union, Sudan, Venezuela and Yugoslavia. The Representatives of Canada, Italy, China and the United States abstained.
