§ 61. Mr. Gowerasked the Minister of Transport when the proposed new bridge over the Usk river in Newport will be built.
§ Mr. MarplesIf Parliament passes the Newport Corporation's Bill to provide for the bridge in the current Session, I hope to authorise the scheme in 1961–62. If I am satisfied with the details I have no doubt that the corporation will put the work in hand as soon as possible.
