Mr. Masonasked the Minister of Health if all his recommendations to the Barnsley Hospital Committee to effect a reduction in the hospital waiting list have now been accepted and put into operation; and whether he has made an estimate of how long it will take to effect an appreciable reduction of the 2,500 people now waiting.
§ Miss PittThe regional hospital Board and hospital management committee are taking action on those measures which they were not already operating. It is too early to say what the effect on the waiting lists will be.
