§ 69. Mr. Masonasked the Minister of Health what progress is being made to clear the site for the new St. Helen Hospital, Barnsley; and when he expects building to commence.
§ Miss PittMy right hon. and learned Friend has asked the Sheffield Regional Hospital Board to arrange a meeting with representatives of Barnsley Corporation to discuss the possibility of acquiring the site of "The Limes". It is not possible to prepare detailed plans for the development of the hospital until it is known whether this additional land will be available when it is needed, and I cannot at this stage say when building might start.
