Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will make a further and comprehensive statement on the effects which the Geneva Conference on the Law of the Sea will have on the British fishing industry, and on the export by that industry of fish to foreign countries.
§ Mr. GodberI would refer the hon. and learned Member to the statement made by my right hon. Friend in the House on 28th April, when he said that we shall be discussing with the industry the implications of the situation arising from the failure of the Conference.
