Eggs (Subsidy)

Mr. Willey

asked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the estimated output of eggs, on which subsidy will be paid, for the purpose of the Supplementary Estimate, dated 2nd February.

Mr. Hare

For the purpose of the Supplementary Estimate, dated 2nd February, it was estimated that subsidy would be paid on 693 million dozen eggs in the financial year ending 31st March, 1960.
