§ Mr. R. A. ButlerA light-weight uniform has been issued to members of the Metropolitan Police. Bush shirts are also to be issued, with a view to the adoption of shirt-sleeve order, at the Commissioner's discretion, in very hot weather; but supplies will not be available until April, 1961.
