HC Deb 27 June 1960 vol 625 c83W
48. Mr. Pavitt

asked the Minister of Health how many domiciliary consultations each quarter have to be given by a whole-time consultant before a separate fee is given; how this compares with the position of a part-time consultant; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. Walker-Smith

Eight, after which payment is made up to a maximum remuneration of 200 guineas per quarter or 800 guineas per year in addition to the salary received for full-time service. In the case of the part-time consultant all domiciliary consultations are paid for, subject to the same maximum.
