§ 54. Mr. Hockingasked the Minister of Health what steps he proposes to take to relieve the overcrowded conditions at the Central Hospital, Hatton, following the report of the Commissioner of the Board of Control after his visit of inspection in March.
§ Miss PittMy right hon. and learned Friend is much concerned about the overcrowding in the night accommodation at this hospital, as are the regional hospital board and the hospital management committee. Certain improvements have been proposed but we have asked the board as a matter of urgency to have the position reviewed again to see what more can be done.
