Mr. W. Hamilton

asked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in the OFFICIAL REPORT the total amount given for each of the various farm subsidies in the year 1959–60.

The total amount of grants and subsidies to Scottish Agriculture in the year 1959–60 was £38,678,000. This is a provisional figure subject to audit, and is made up as follows:
