§ Sir D. EcclesExisting knowledge, founded on research and experience, provides an adequate basis for the design of classrooms in these respects. The Building Research Station of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research has given much valuable help on these and other aspects of school building since the war, and my officers keep in close touch with the Station.
