§ 70. Mr. Scott-Hopkinsasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he is aware of the difficulties experienced by rural district councils with low rateable incomes in undertaking meat inspection; and what action he proposes to take to assist them in carrying out their duties.
§ Mr. HareI realise that this is taking a long time but a great deal of work is being done and I hope before too long to be able to announce further progress towards achieving 100 per cent. meat inspection, which both sides of the House want.
