§ Mr. Hector Hughesasked the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in 75W view of the ending on 12th August next of the three-month period during which British trawler owners agreed to keep their trawlers outside the 12-mile limit to enable Her Majesty's Government to reach a satisfactory agreement with Iceland, and of the danger of strike action by British fishing interests failing the achievement of such an agreement, what he has done, and now plans to do, to resolve those problems within the period stated.
§ Mr. HareAs the hon. and learned Member is aware, my right hon. Friend is in close touch with the Icelandic Government about the question of reaching a settlement of the dispute, but he is not yet in a position to make any statement.
