§ 11. Mrs. Castleasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what instructions he gives to probation officers as to the type of employment which those who are put on probation must accept in order to establish that they are trying to lead an industrious life.
§ Mr. VosperMy right hon. Friend does not give instructions to probation officers on this matter. It is for the court to decide whether any probationer brought before it has failed to comply with a requirement of the probation order.
